The Vaudevillains

28 Apr 2026 - 29 Apr 2026

Sheffield audiences are being urged to act quickly as The Vaudevillains prepares to take over The Old Workshop in Neepsend for a strictly limited two-night run later this month.

Created by the internationally acclaimed theatre company Les Enfants Terribles, The Vaudevillains is a darkly comic story set in a twisted underworld where villains take centre stage — flamboyant, outrageous, and utterly unashamed.

These are not your storybook baddies; they’re bigger, bolder, and far more entertaining. Audiences can expect a whirlwind of surreal scenes, razor-sharp humour, striking physical comedy, and toe-tapping musical numbers, all wrapped in a distinctive macabre aesthetic.

It’s fast, fearless, and wickedly funny, constantly shifting between laugh-out-loud moments and darker surprises, drawing the audience into its mischievous world.

Equal parts entertaining and unsettling, the show offers something refreshingly different from the traditional night at the theatre.

Organisers say the production will appeal to those looking for something bold, visually distinctive, and a little daring — a show that pushes boundaries while remaining accessible and packed with personality.
