An evening of relaxed non-traditional life drawing in a speak-easy style wine loft.
Join this unique themed session, featuring 2 models in costume.
Expect poses, props, music and more all inspired by the iconic films of director Wes Anderson.
The session is untutored, with music and a non-judgmental welcoming environment, ideal for artists of all skill levels.
Figures & Fabric is an LGBTQIA+ and queer friendly space.
The bar will be open and drinks can be purchased throughout the night.
NO;DC has 30 wines BTG with non-alcoholic options including hot and soft drinks also available.
Drawing materials provided, but feel free to bring your own!

Gather your materials (and refreshments) and prepare to start drawing. Please arrive on time and ready to start drawing at 7!
Drawing first half
7:00 pm
The first hour of drawing, poses will range from 5 - 15 mins.
Intermission 8:00 pm
Drawing second half 8:15 - 9:00 pm Poses will range from 10 - 20 mins
Guidelines and FAQ
Please keep conversation to a minimum during poses and be mindful of conversational topics that may make those around you, or the models uncomfortable .
Always respect the privacy of the models, avoid asking them to disclose any personal information.
Please avoid eating during poses.
Do I need drawing experience? ~ No experience needed whatsoever! These sessions are welcome to all.
Drawing clothes is hard right? ~ It can be challenging but it doesn't have to be! Just have fun and let loose, you can keep things gestural or experiment with colour. There are no rules.
