The Gardeners Rest
The Gardeners Rest is a community run pub in Neepsend, Sheffield. They pride themselves on the high quality of the beer selection and the regular arts and musical events held in the pub. They are also proud that the customers own and run the pub as a community project. So not only is there a great pub to drink in, they also undertake charitable work with vulnerable adults and people with learning difficulties, by providing employment opportunities and meeting space.

As they are fond of saying: they are more than a pub, they are a community hub. The Gardeners has a wide range of customers, they encourage a healthy mixture of older and younger people to use the pub. There’s free parking on the surrounding roads and it is only a five minute walk from the Langsett Road tram stop and across from the no 8 bus stop.
