Kicking off the outdoor season with a bang! Each March, Festival of the Outdoors offers a full month of events and activities celebrating Sheffield's great outdoors and communities. With a really wide variety of events there's something for everyone!

ERF - Street Scene

As part of the ERF delivery, street-scene improvements have proven to be immensely popular. These enhancements range from practical additions like bins, benches, and planters to transformative elements such as parklets, shopfront upgrades, and even a green living wall—all funded through ERF support.

Outdoors & nature

The UK's greenest city, where nature and culture intertwine. The historic Peak District National Park and and spiritual home of the country's climbing scene, with downhill mountain biking, road cycling and a hive of activity for kayakers, walkers and runners of all ability.

Legacy of UEFA Women's EURO 2022 launches in Sheffield

Sheffield is one of nine cities chosen to host games for the UEFA Women's Euro in 2022 and a major ticketing roadmap and legacy programme has been unveiled, illustrating how a record-breaking tournament has the power to inspire the next generation of players and fans.

Womanthology

Womanthology is a digital magazine and professional community for women of all ages and backgrounds as they progress through their careers. It is powered by female energy and ingenuity. The platform champions positive female role models by sharing good news stories, best practice and wisdom from everyone, regardless of gender, collaborating to create a gender positive experience in the workplace.

Meet Rachel from our team of business advisors. Known for her supportive, practical, and pragmatic advice, Rachel was very involved in supporting companies during the pandemic to help them identify and access the correct grants and send through the required information.

The Beer House

Micropub with a capacity for about 40 people across two small rooms. The front room has level access from the street and contains the bar with 6 handpumps with an ever changing range of real ales. A locally brewed draught lager and interesting bottled beer range also feature and quality wines & spirits from the local specialist off licence.

Historic Leah’s Yard set for revival as creative hub for independent businesses

Leah’s Yard, a former 19th Century mesters works and one of Sheffield’s most important heritage buildings, is set for an exciting new future that will both honour and celebrate its rich industrial heritage as part of the Heart of the City regeneration programme.
