Welcome to The Fringe at Tramlines!


Each year, as Hillsborough Park gets ready to host the main Tramlines Festival, the rest of the city also gears up to stage a whole host of music events...

Taking place across outdoor spaces, pubs, bars and music venues in Sheffield City Centre and beyond, expect a whole load of FREE events to suit all music tastes, with The Fringe at Tramlines, 21 - 23 July 2023. 

This year over 40 venues in the city are taking part! You'll find some of the weekend Fringe highlights on this page, but for a comprehensive guide to everything that’s taking place over the weekend, be sure to download the official Fringe at Tramlines mobile app, available for both Android and Apple devices. The Fringe Stage

Devonshire Green, Sheffield City Centre

In addition to all the venue events happening across the city, Devonshire Green in Sheffield City Centre will once again be hosting a FREE outdoor stage over the weekend, supported by Sheffield BID.

The Devonshire Green stage is set to showcase a rich tapestry of musical genres that perfectly reflects Sheffield's diverse cultural landscape.

Saturday will see energetic ska ensemble Jungle Lion in the headline spot, while Sunday at Devonshire Green is headlined by the magnificent Sheffield Beatles Project, a super group of local musicians. Plus so much more...

The Other Festival at Sidney & Matilda

The heartbeat of Sheffield's alternative scene, The Other Festival will take place across three days, and will see a variety of live music acts, DJs, club takeovers and radio stations, 21 - 23 July.

Get ready to 'ave a blast at Alder Bar 22 & 23 of July, as they present a weekend hosted by the brilliant Dozeh Events for the Fringe at Tramlines.

The Fringe at Tramlines: The Washington

Join the Washington for another packed Tramlines Fringe programme. With "unhinged garage punks from outta' space" Mouthparts, melancholy pop idols Shelley Byron, a Bowie tribute, and reggae-inflected Kiziah And The Kings.

Doomlines VIII at Corporation

Doomlines enters its eighth year with its biggest line-up yet. It is the only place to be for fans of heavy during Tramlines 2023. The line-up features stunning international talent alongside the best of the Sheffield and wider UK underground, covering doom, sludge, stoner, psych, black, death, post metal and post punk.

All Crews Rave Up at Hope Works

Each year, Hope Works throw a mega outdoor rave-up to coincide with Tramlines weekend with loads of Sheffield’s finest, the perfect late night knees-up for those that want to keep the party going.

Tramlines Street Parties at the Leadmill

After the main event in Hillsborough Park, Sheffield's legendary music venue The Leadmill are inviting you all back to theirs for a massive street party to keep the festival vibes going.

Off The Tracks '23 at Dryad Works

Dryad presents Off The Tracks ’23 with Halogenix, Particle, Spectral, Blackeye MC, Papa Nugs, B2b and Frazer Ray.
