Sheffield Theatres Announce 50th Anniversary Season

Sheffield Theatres have announced their landmark 50th anniversary season, including an ambitious trilogy of plays and the much anticipated return of Standing at the Sky's Edge, amongst many more exciting productions.

Sheffield Theatres Wins South Bank Sky Arts Award

Sheffield Theatres has triumphed at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards, taking home the Theatre award for new musical, Standing at the Sky’s Edge. If 2020 had gone to plan, the show would've been in the middle of another run at the Crucible Theatre.

Drama Studio

The University of Sheffield Drama Studio is a first class venue consisting of a 200 seat theatre, 2 rehearsal studios and other production facilities. It is housed in the former Glossop Road Baptist Church (opened in 1871) and was converted into a theatre in 1970.

Sheffield Lyceum's 2025 spectacular, fun-filled, family pantomime will be... Aladdin! Panto legend Damian Williams will return for his 18th year. Aladdin will run from 5 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.
