Halo World Snooker Championship 2026

Professional snooker's most prestigious tournament and one of Sheffield’s biggest sporting events, the World Championship returns with 32 of snooker’s best players competing in a knockout style tournament, 18 April - 4 May.

Pocket Stage live music for Snooker Finals Weekend

As the finals of the Halo World Snooker Championship take place in Sheffield, there'll be a special weekend programme of live music to add to the atmosphere in Tudor Square between sessions, 1 - 4 May.

Tudor Square, in Sheffield city centre, is thronging with people, who have come to watch the snooker at The Crucible. Some people are sat on deck chairs watching the matches on a big screen.
