Crucible Theatre

Originally opened in 1971, the Crucible is a world-famous theatre and iconic Sheffield landmark, with a distinctive stage.

Drama Studio

The University of Sheffield Drama Studio is a first class venue consisting of a 200 seat theatre, 2 rehearsal studios and other production facilities. It is housed in the former Glossop Road Baptist Church (opened in 1871) and was converted into a theatre in 1970.

EPPiC Theatre

Theatre with auditorium of 98 modern, comfy seats. There is a lounge where interval refreshments are served. The theatre hosts three drama productions a year, including one musical and one pantomime. There are also ad hoc evening entertainments through out the year.

Lantern Theatre

The Lantern Theatre has been used as a location to host a huge range of professional and amatuer productions over the years. It has played host to music concerts, professional theatre productions, live bands, charity events, company team building events, acting classes, as a film location and even as a sound recording area for a local film.

Library Theatre

The Library Theatre hosts all sorts of performances, from theatre, film, dance and music to literature events, stand-up comedy, children’s shows, pantomime, variety shows, burlesque, lectures, demonstrations and meetings.

Lyceum Theatre

With over a hundred years of history, this magnificent theatre provides an ornate backdrop to the very best of the West End, with a diverse programme of touring productions including musical theatre, opera, ballet, contemporary dance, family shows and comedy.

Merlin Theatre

The Merlin Theatre is a beautiful theatre is set in the gardens of Tintagel House in Nether Edge and is a thriving arts centre and a unique place for celebrating the creative potential of young people with special educational needs.

Sheffield City Hall

Sheffield City Hall is a beautiful and historic building that plays host to all number of events, performances, concerts, conferences and festivals.

Sheffield Theatres

Sheffield Theatres is a complex of three theatres, comprised of The Crucible, its more intimate Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse and the adjacent Lyceum Theatre.
