Kelham Island Museum

Set on the banks of the River Don, the museum is a mainstay of thriving Kelham Island, where boutique bars and the city’s best eateries sit alongside historic buildings and some of the oldest pubs in Sheffield. It even has its very own onsite, The Millowners Arms.

The museum has free parking available, as well as convenient public transport links to the city centre. There’s also a great choice of hotels just a 15-minute walk away.

Weddings and civil ceremonies take place in the characterful Crucible Workshop. Celebrations, business dinners and large-scale events are hosted amongst the high ceilings and Victorian tiles of the spacious, flexible Upper Gallery.

The building’s countless original features reflect its rich history and make for beautiful backdrops. While the museum’s exhibition galleries are just waiting to be explored by your guests.
