267th Dore Scouts Gala

The Scout Parade arrives at Dore Recreation Ground & enters the Gala Arena to open the Event at 1pm.

A full programme follows in the Gala Arena until the Event closes at 5.30pm.

There will be: donkey rides (Sponsored by Staves Estate Agents); a bungee trampoline; go carts; bouncy castles & inflatables; a traditional amusement arcade; frisbee golf; a treasure trail; archery; plant, books and toys stalls; an ice cream van, & hopefully a fire engine.

There will also be traditional Scout stalls: Welly Wanging; Coconut Shy; Hoopla; Hook-a-Duck; Wheel of Fortune; Penalty Shoot-Out; Rout a Scout; Wheel of Fortune; Tombola; Archery; and more.

Refreshments will include the famous Tea Tent selling hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes, scones, and afternoon tea, and a drinks bar.

The Scout BBQ will be selling burgers, hot-dogs, & chips. New for this year will be pulled pork baps; children’s picnic boxes; and the Scout Camp signature dish - pizza wraps. There will be more on the day.
