Join acclaimed artist and author Remi Rough for a special talk and Q&A on his new book: Future Language of the Ikonoklast: A Visual History of the Ikonoklast Movement

The book explores the story of the Ikonoklast Movement, a renegade UK graffiti collective formed in 1989 by Juice 126 and joined by Rough, Part2, Stormboy, System, Tee Roc, and Solo1.

Described as “a graffiti crew but not a graffiti crew”, they rebelled against the constraints of traditional graffiti, creating a ‘post-graffiti supergroup’ that pushed the boundaries of style, technique, and collaboration.

Richly illustrated and meticulously researched, the book documents the crew’s prolific output of the 1990s and their influence on international graffiti culture. For the first time, this comprehensive volume celebrates their groundbreaking contributions and ensures their legacy is no longer overlooked.

At this event, Remi will share insights from the book, show slides, and reflect on the movement’s enduring impact on contemporary street art. Copies of the book will be available to purchase, with opportunities to get them signed.
