Common Threads invites women—and their families and friends—to take up space in the city centre.
Inspired by traditional Somali weaving practices, participants will come together to weave a ‘living room’ in the city centre, animated with performances, meals, music and workshops suitable for all ages.
Home-cooked, nutritious ‘n’ delicious food will be available each day on a pay-what-you-can basis, served from 12.30pm – 2pm.
Common Threads is free to attend, and visitors are welcome to drop in at any time between 11am–5pm. Workshop places can be reserved for free through the booking link.
