Funky Drummer
Announcing the very first Funky Drummer, Soundsystem session!
A single room in Sheffield's most community oriented and inclusive DIY space, Gut Level, with the truly delicious homemade Soundsystem, Bosun. This night is hopefully going to be the start of a more simplistic branch of Funky Drummer that is focused on their usual funky tunes on a sexy soundsystem, up close and personal.
They will be underselling slightly to make sure that you have room to shake a leg. Along for the ride are Jomo from Hebden Bridge, Sian from London and Bald Ethos from Manchester, alongside Funky Drummer, Peter Rabbit.
Tunes: Expect a lot of magical global music, afrolatin house, broken beat and all things soulful and warm from many moons ago to the cutting edge of current day.
Tickets are on the door only at £14. First come first served from 20:30.
