History Through the Ages

On Sunday 7 September, step back in time and see history come to life from across the ages! On the day, you will be able to:

• Discover how people lived during the fifteenth century with Knights in Battle and the Lord Thomas Stanley Retinue
• Learn about the lives of British Army soldiers and their wives during the American War of Independence with the 43rd Regiment of Foot
• Explore the world of Saxons, Vikings and Normans with living history group Suðrjórvík
• Enjoy music from the time of the Tudors/Stuarts with the Doncaster Waites
• Have a go at kids’ archery, jousting, dressing up, Morris dancing …and more!

There are two entry slots at 10:30am and 1pm. There will be running activities throughout the day and any performances in the morning will be repeated in the afternoon.
