Peaty's Steel City Downhill

The Biggest Little race In The World - Returning for its 12th year, everyone's favourite MTB race is back in the woods. Great racing, great food, great times....

It’s at Greno Woods, S35 8NA on Sat 13th September.

Practice from 08:30, race runs from around midday, podium celebrations around 17.30

Parking is signposted from Woodhead road, £5 per car, cash only (which goes to the farmer) S35 7DS but follow the signs.

Steel City Series are asking £5/person or £15 per family as a suggested donations to support @wildsheffieldandrotherham and raise money towards rebuilding the Pub Run track at Greno with help from @ridesheffield - please dig deep to support this. You’ll get a free reusable cup too! Cash or card accepted.

Merch sales also help raise funds; there will be tees, hoodies, stickers, cowbells and extra cups too. Find all this at the merch stand above the bombhole. Big thanks to @wearetado for the merch designs!

There will be a wide range of exhibitors near the finish, check their stands and support the local scene.  A wide range of food and drink stands will be there on the day to keep you fed!

Help leave the woods tidier than when the event started, use the bins/recycling and make use of the reusable pint pots - extras are available at the bar and merch stand for £2.

Everyone likes a friendly party vibe, so come along and be part of the biggest little race. There will be tunes on the day along with @toby_parodi on the mic - bring your best heckling and cheering voices along!
