UnEarth: Open Up Summer Exhibition
UnEarth by Mary Sewell
The exhibition follows the path of my work from painting to ceramics through my interest in prehistoric art, neolithic figurines and the use of earth pigments.
The paintings show suggestions, signs, ideas and symbols which reveal how my later ceramic pieces have evolved. Many of them are themselves evocative of ancient artefacts.
