Millennium Gallery

The Millennium Gallery is Sheffield’s premier destination for art, craft and design. Here you can see some of Sheffield’s unique heritage, including the metalwork which made the city world famous, alongside contemporary art and design exhibitions.

Ashoka

A restaurant inspired by India and made in Sheffield, Ashoka has been around since 1967 and their accolades speak for themselves: Gourmet Indian Food since 1967; Featured in The Times Top 10 Indian Restaurants; Sheffield Restaurant of the Year and listed within the Top 60 in the Good Curry Guide.

Get outdoors

We have 61% greenspace here, which is the highest percentage of any city in the world. Everywhere is walkable, and 1/3 of the city is in the Peak District National Park, meaning Sheffield is a destination for boulders, climbers, MTBers and runners in its own right. But none of this excludes the culture, cuisine, nightlife and feel that you get from the country's 4th largest city. Ultimately, we think we've got the best of both worlds, smashed together in one amazing place.

Plantology

Plantology is a like-minded team of florists selling plants and flowers in Sheffield, inspired by the beauty of nature and the limitless creations that can be made using them. Alongside plants and dried flowers, Plantology also sell an array of pots and gifts and homeware.

Moss Valley Fine Meats

The farm produces pork, hand-cured bacon and ham and hand-made sausages and burgers in their own butchery. Pigs are bred and reared on their farm in the picturesque Moss Valley where the family has farmed for a hundred years. Available at stockists across Sheffield.

Mountain biking

Head straight out to the UK’s only inner-city mountain bike trail at Parkwood Springs, take in some big views and berms at Lady Cannings Plantation or venture north to Sheffield's Greno Woods for some technical trails through the trees. Beyond the city boundary, a whole network of trails and bridleways will take you into the heart of the stunning Peak District National Park.
