Historic Leah’s Yard set for revival as creative hub for independent businesses

Leah’s Yard, a former 19th Century mesters works and one of Sheffield’s most important heritage buildings, is set for an exciting new future that will both honour and celebrate its rich industrial heritage as part of the Heart of the City regeneration programme.

Plans for Sheffield’s historic Leah’s Yard given green light

Proposals to revive historic Leah’s Yard on Cambridge Street in Sheffield City Centre and create a social hub for creative independent businesses, have been approved by Sheffield City Council's Local Planning Authority.

The Cabin

The Cabin is a cosy Canadian pancake and waffle house, located at the bottom of The Moor shopping precinct in Sheffield's City Centre. It can get very busy, especially on weekends, so be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Chakra Lounge

The Chakra Lounge is a delightful vegan cafe fusing Indo-Western cuisine in Fitzalan Square in the city centre. With lush interiors and great culinary creations (and some tasty drinks to boot), you'll find it a wonderful spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Proove - Orchard Square

Hallam FC

Located in a leafy suburb of Sheffield 10 to the West of the city centre and some 800 feet above sea level lies Sandygate Road, officially the oldest football ground in the World and home of Hallam FC since 1860, thus making them the second oldest football club in the World to Sheffield FC.
