'Holberry' a new historical play at Upper Chapel

St Mark’s Church and By the Book Drama Group are performing a dramatised play reading of a new play about Sheffield’s most famous Chartist revolutionary, Samuel Holberry, written by David Price, author of Sheffield Troublemakers: Rebels and Radicals in Sheffield History.

Off The Shelf Festival of Words 2025

Sheffield's annual festival celebrating books, words and ideas, is one of the UK’s largest literary festivals. Taking place 10 - 26 October, the festival will once again be bringing some of the biggest names in literary talent, media and the arts to South Yorkshire.
