Carousel aims to nurture inclusive talent development and lifelong arts participation. The studio is a ground floor, accessible, warm, bright, and secure space, staffed by a welcoming team experienced in working with a range of participants. They offer affordable membership and materials and free refreshments, and are located in close proximity to public transport links.
For those facing further barriers to participation in arts activities, they facilitate the development of transferable creative, technical and interpersonal skills through a programme of bespoke community activities. These aim to promote emotional well-being through supportive peer relationships, encourage self-expression, and introduce participants to the potentials of sustained creative practice / arts employment.
