Abbeydale Road Beer Festival returns for its fourth year on Thursday 31st July - Sunday 3rd August, bringing the ultimate craft beer showdown between Lancashire and Yorkshire to one of Sheffield’s most vibrant streets.
Stretching across one epic mile, the festival spans 12 independent venues, each serving up exclusive brews from 14 of the North’s finest breweries - seven proudly representing Yorkshire, and seven flying the red rose flag for Lancashire.
The concept is simple: drink your way down Abbeydale Road, trying at least one beer from each venue. Those who complete the full trail will earn a limited-edition festival print, specially designed for this year’s “War of the Roses” theme.
Expect friendly rivalry, local pride, and an unbeatable atmosphere as the two historic counties go head-to-head in hops and heritage.
Each venue along the route will offer a different vibe - from cosy pubs and quirky bars to bottle shops and beer gardens, all pouring specially selected beers that showcase the best each region has to offer.
Whether you're a craft connoisseur or a casual pint lover, there's something for everyone.
Alongside the pints, you’ll find street food in multiple venues, DJs, and exclusive festival giveaways throughout the day.
It’s a celebration of local beer, community spirit, and the unique character of Abbeydale Road. No tickets. No wristbands.
Just turn up, grab your festival stamp card, and let your taste buds lead the way.
Come along on the first weekend of August for four days of great beer, friendly rivalry and unforgettable fun.
Will Yorkshire hold onto the crown, or will Lancashire take the title this year? You decide, one pint at a time.
