Join silversmith Charlotte Tollyfield at Yorkshire Artspace, Persistence Works for a 2 day hands-on smithing skills workshop!
Learn the specialist silversmithing art of hand raising and create a beautiful hanging planter using traditional hammer techniques to raise a copper bowl.
You will then make a chain cradle from which to hang your bowl, before planting it up ready to take home and display.
This in-person event is a great introduction for beginners and perfect practice for those wanting to increase their skill.
Over the course of each day Charlotte will lead you through every step of the process and support you in your making.
At the end of the two days you’ll take your beautiful piece away with you to proudly display at home or gift to someone special.
