Dig Where You Stand: Women of Colour in the Archives
Women of colour have long been overlooked or marginalised in local archives. Dig Where You Stand seeks to change this.
Through a creative development programme, they bring women of colour together, grant access to archives after hours, and help to creatively explore untold and overlooked stories.
Join this latest community gathering to learn more about this exciting work. The panel of presenters and performers – all women of colour - will share their experience of exploring local archives, the stories they discovered, and creative responses they produced.
This will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.
