The South Yorkshire Organ Festival 2025 invites audiences to experience this remarkable instrument across a variety of historic venues in the region — from the soaring pipes of Sheffield Cathedral to the rich character of cinema and church organs in Barnsley, Doncaster, Chesterfield, and beyond.

From Saturday 17 May to Sunday 25 May, this year's festival offers a vibrant programme of events including:

• Opportunities to play the organs at both of Sheffield's cathedrals — no experience required
• Guided introductions to the organ's mechanics, history, and music
• Live cinema organ performances featuring classic film music and tea dance favourites
