Art Scene is a multifunctional art space and Italian coffee shop. They offer great Italian coffee, alongside a range of quality art supplies. The walls are are exhibition space for local artists.
Lunch is served 11-2:30 with savoury and sweet treats available all day.
On Tuesday and Thursday evening they offer a range of creative and art workshops.
Friday and Saturday are Italian bistro nights and they also offer crafty celebration events as well as children's arty-parties.

Art Scene has been an independent art supplies shop since the 1990s. In 2020 new owners took it over. They decided to combine the offer of quality art materials with outstanding Italian coffee.
They became a space where you could get your art supplies, creative books and stationery, sit down and enjoy a coffee and a natter, put the world to rights and spread some joy. So many things have changed over the past few years and they have tried to keep up with the challenges that having a business can bring, but they have maintained the creative vibe of this wonderful space.
The walls are used to exhibit artwork from talented local artists. The artwork on display changes every two months so there is always something new and interesting to see.
In the evening the seating area is used for creative workshops, celebration events and arty parties. In 2023 a kitchen was added so they can now serve hot and cold food throughout the day and the Italian bistro nights at weekends.
Art Scene is multifunctional small space with big ideas.
