The restaurant is made entirely from upcycled shipping containers on the ground floor of Krynkl in Kelham Island. The focus of the cooking is on using the very best quality of seasonal and sustainable ingredients, locally sourced when possible. Their food is created passionately by the team, excitingly with the discovery of new produce and developing their favourite flavours and dishes in their own style.
At Jöro the philosophy is that they want to offer a relaxed and accessible dining experience that they temselves would enjoy when eating out. Offering a style of food, drinks and service unique to their personalities. The wine and drinks menu is built around a love of flavours too. The ever changing drinks list features wines from around the world with a focus on small indepedant wineries, sustainable practices and showcasing lesser known grape varieties. Sake, beer, cider, spirits, cocktails and their own foraged selection of juices and cordials all feature and change regularly, in line with the seasons and produce in the kitchen.
The restaurant is designed as an open plan dining room to create an immersed dining experience offering 5, 8 and 10 course tasting menus. With 12 tables plus a kitchen bench which accommodates a maximum of 2 guests, where guests share in the buzz of the kitchen and their complete passion for food.
There is no dress code, allowing for a comfortable experience and welcoming guests of all ages to enjoy the tasting menu.
