Simona showcased Sheffield’s global position in fingerprint technologies at the International Fingerprint Research Group’s annual conference – a gathering of the top 48 scientists in the world on this subject along with global law enforcement agencies.  She is the deputy Head of the Centre for Mass Spectrometry Imaging and the Head of the Bioanalytical Research Group since 2020.

Thanks to Simona Sheffield will host the annual symposium for The European Network of Forensic Science Institutes and The European Fingerprint Working Group later this year.  In addition to the conference proceedings, delegates will also get to enjoy all that Sheffield has to offer including a walk in the Peak National Park to their conference dinner.
