Presenting a special weekend of music, art, technology and dancing in October each year, No Bounds is Sheffield’s "wildly innovative festival" that perfectly welds past and present.
Though majoring in electronic music primarily, the multi-disciplinary festival crosses into many genres to present an array of unique musical experiences in contrasting venues, capturing the essence of Sheffield’s contemporary scene while also acknowledging the city’s industrial past.
More than just music performances, No Bounds also incorporates visual art, poetry, film, talks and debates, alongside a growing educational strand which includes DJ workshops, live coding and music journalism.
Having delivered a fully hybrid festival in 2020, the No Bounds returned with full capacity venues and body shaking sound systems cranked to trance inducing peak rave perfection for the 2021 edition.
The festival returned to Kelham Island Museum and Hope Works as its core venues but hosted an array of special events at smaller venues too and furthered its reputation for staging events in quirky locations, with a brass band performance at the Sheffield Interchange bus station. Previous editions of the festival have also seen events at swimming pools, cemeteries, cinemas and galleries.
The 2022 edition of No Bounds will take place in Sheffield, 15 -17 October. Tickets are on sale now at noboundsfestival.co.uk
