Festival of the Outdoors 2025
Every March, as the days are getting longer, drier, and warmer in Sheffield, we celebrate what it means to be The Outdoor City, by hosting the Festival of the Outdoors.
You'll find everything from large-scale international sporting events to small community gatherings; from guided walks to some of the worlds hardest bouldering problems; outdoor markets to film festivals.

This major new exhibition takes visitors on a nostalgia-filled journey through the childhood of one of Sheffield best-loved artists, Pete McKee.
Abbeydale Live
A new one-day, music trail taking place along Abbeydale Road on Saturday 26 April, with 50+ live acts across 14 venues and all free entry.
Survival of the Sickest
The Survival of the Sickest event series allows junior skateboarders to compete in age category events and aims to encourage skaters onto the ‘Pipeline Project’ talent pathway for youngsters who are striving to compete at national and international events.

Live music for Snooker Finals Weekend
As the finals of the Halo World Snooker Championship take place in Sheffield, we'll be hosting a special weekend programme of live music to add to the atmosphere in Tudor Square between sessions, 1 - 5 May.
Sheffield International Market: Spring 2025
Market Place Europe return to Sheffield City Centre with another edition of their popular international market, to coincide with the World Snooker Championship Finals weekend 1 - 5 May.

Open Up Sheffield 2025
With 100+ studios taking part, Open Up Sheffield is one of the largest open studio events outside of London and helps showcase some of Sheffield's finest creative talents. This year it will take place over two weekends, 3 May - 5 May and 10 - 11 May.
