This year’s ceremony is set to kick off the 2024 awards season, coming to the Utilita Arena Sheffield on Wednesday 7 February 2024 for its incredible 26th year.

Guest hosts and first performers announced

Babatúndé Aléshé and Indiyah Polack will be taking to the stage in Sheffield on Wednesday 7 February as the hosts announced for the 26th MOBO Awards

They'll be joined by DJ Spoony, Byron Messia and the legendary, Soul II Soul, as the first acts confirmed to perform on the night, with lots more still be announced.

MOBO Award nominees announced

Preparations are well underway for an evening of showstopping live music performances at this year's MOBO Awards in Sheffield.

Nominees across 20 categories include the likes of Stormzy, DojaCat, Idris Elba, Maya Jama and Drake, plus many more big names from Black music and culture, giving you a flavour of the famous faces we might see attending the event in Sheffield.

Tuesday 6 February

Sheffield presents a special educational panel discussion and Q&A with key leaders from UK Black Music on Tuesday 6 February.

A must-attend session for any aspiring music artists, the event will welcome a number of successful industry figures, along with emerging artists and their teams, to share their expertise and help push forward the next generation of talent.

Pattern and Push X Slambarz Showcase

Monday 5 February

Pattern + Push and Slambarz will be co-hosting a special showcase of Sheffield’s best new, up-an- coming and emerging talent from across the MOBO spectrum.

Both these amazing organisations operate as a talent development funnel, discovering and platforming new artists from Sheffield and so are perfectly placed to curate this exclusive showcase event.

Sheffield Spotlight in the Winter Garden

Wednesday 7 February

Join us for a glorious celebration of Sheffield’s black culture as this special MOBO Fringe event showcases a host of music and artistic talent.

Taking place on the same day as the official awards ceremony, Sheffield Spotlight will see talent from every corner of the city performing live in the Winter Garden, along with an array of stalls from Sheffield's finest black-owned businesses.
