The final film of the 420 Season may not be considered by all as a stoner movie, but Kelham Island Film Club feel it fits into the film quite nicely… a buddy movie featuring an iconic slacker duo fumbling through an adventure and landing on their feet unfazed?!
Stephen Herek’s 1989 ’science fiction’ comedy definitely fits the bill. And although there is no obvious and explicit use of the characters consuming any pot, everyone familiar with the movie knew all along what they were doing instead of studying for their final exam. Two rock-'n-rolling teens, on the verge of failing their class, set out on a quest to make the ultimate school history report after being presented with a time machine.
