Whirlow Brook Park - Plant Swap/Sale - In aid of Orchard and Wild Play Area
Come along to this plant swap/sale and help raise funds for Friends of Whirlow Brook Park and the new orchard and wild play area.
Bring along your spare plants, seedlings, perennials, herbs and wild flowers and bird feeders. You can also bring veg or fruit bushes, early harvests of rhubarb, other crops or cut flowers. Then go home with fresh new stock.
There will also be a tool-sharpening service on the day (secateurs, loppers, shears, edge trimmers etc), in return for a donation to Friends of Whirlow Brook Park funds.
Nothing to swap? No problems, come along to buy plants/make a donation. Bents Green Nursery and Roots and Bloom will be selling their beautiful plants. There will also be some hands on activity for kids.

Additional Information
Whirlow Brook Park is a beautifully designed landscape with a countryside feel and lots of space for children to run around. The Friends group have been restoring the park and creating new features : Tree Trail, Family Trail (opening soon).
They are now fundraising for the Community Orchard and Wild Play area.
